Tulip Lovely Surprise / Lavli Surprise

The tulip Lovely Surprise is a perennial variety belonging to the Greg class, distinguished by its early flowering period from April to June. The plant reaches a height of 20 to 50 cm, making it versatile for various landscape compositions and cuttings. The flowers are bicolor, primarily red-lilac, with cream and yellow edges, giving them exceptional decorative appeal.

This variety is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including USDA zones 1-9 and climate zone 3, ensuring its resilience and reliability in cultivation. Tulips Lovely Surprise prefer sunny areas or light shade, where they exhibit their best flowering. The plants are low-maintenance, requiring moderate watering and soil loosening after planting bulbs, which should be spaced 5-10 cm apart.

Lovely Surprise is highly resistant to diseases and pests, and features sturdy flower stems that do not bend under wind or rain. Thanks to these qualities, tulips of this variety beautifully adorn spring flower beds and garden plots, as well as create striking bouquets. For winter storage, it is recommended to insulate the bulbs, which helps preserve them and ensures successful blooming in the following season.
