Tulip Domino

Professional choice: The reliability of «Domino» in commercial forcing

The «Domino» tulip, classified as a Triumph hybrid, is a go-to variety for growers prioritizing crop security. Its most significant advantage is its natural resistance to common pathogens, including Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, alternaria, and powdery mildew. In high-density greenhouse production, this biological resilience minimizes the need for aggressive fungicide applications, ensuring a higher marketable yield per square meter.

Practical application

• Commercial Forcing: With its mid-season blooming window, «Domino» is a staple for spring holiday production. The variety responds predictably to temperature fluctuations, allowing agronomists to manage development timelines precisely.
• Landscaping Efficiency: Its medium stem height provides excellent structural integrity, making it resistant to lodging under windy conditions. The vivid red bloom is remarkably durable, maintaining shape and color intensity even in outdoor public displays.

For modern agricultural businesses, «Domino» represents a low-risk, high-reward asset. Its robust root system and strong stalk consistency ensure that the final product meets commercial standards for uniformity and shelf-life. Whether used in intensive greenhouse operations or ornamental landscaping, this hybrid minimizes labor costs associated with plant health maintenance and sorting, delivering a consistent performance season after season.
