Tulip Cracker

Elegant Contrast in the Triumph Class

The 'Cracker' tulip has firmly established itself in the Triumph hybrid segment, prized for its combination of a classic goblet-shaped flower and a sturdy, tall stem. Growers choose this variety for its striking palette: the petals feature a blend of white and lilac, creating an elegant play of color in both garden beds and floral arrangements.

Agronomic Advantages

The breeding of 'Cracker' focuses on resilience against various pathogens that frequently threaten bulbous crops under high-humidity conditions. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to:

• Fusarium root rot;
• Brown rust;
• Fusarium head blight;
• Powdery mildew.

This protection profile makes 'Cracker' a reliable choice for both professional forcing production and landscape design, where maintaining decorative quality throughout the flowering period is paramount.

Market Position

As a mid-season flowering variety, this tulip serves as a perfect bridge between early and late spring blooms. Its impressive height allows it to be used effectively in the background of flower beds or as a cut flower, where the length of the peduncle is a key quality metric. The variety's solid reputation is built on its reliability; it performs consistently during spring temperature fluctuations, preserving both the flower's structure and the vibrancy of its colors.
