Gladiolus Mriynyk

Reliability and Aesthetics Combined

When working with the "Mechtatel" gladiolus, bred by Anatoly Kiselev, the first thing you notice is its low-maintenance nature. For an agronomist or garden owner, this means a predictable outcome: the plant reaches 140–160 cm, maintaining vertical stability even in gusty winds. Unlike many imported varieties, "Mechtatel" does not require a complex support system, which significantly saves time during maintenance.

Flowering Parameters

• Ripening period: 80–85 days — perfect timing for seasonal sales planning or private garden design.
• Spike geometry: 40–50 cm long, carrying up to 20–24 buds.
• Flower diameter: 13–15 cm, star-shaped.
• Color palette: A delicate blend of pink and cream that fits harmoniously into any landscape project.

Operational Recommendations

The key feature of this variety is its prolonged flowering. When using standard preservation methods after cutting, the gladiolus maintains its marketability in a vase for a long time. In open ground, it also demonstrates high resistance to adverse weather conditions, retaining its decorative appeal even after heavy rains or temperature fluctuations. "Mechtatel" is the choice for those who value the balance between stunning visual appeal and ease of care.
