Tulip Escape

A Benchmark in the Triumph Segment

The Tulip variety 'Escape' has firmly established itself in professional horticulture as a staple of the Triumph class. Combining aesthetic perfection with commercial durability, this variety has become a trusted choice for both greenhouse production and open-field cultivation.

Robust Disease Resistance

The primary value proposition of the Escape variety lies in its genetic resilience. Breeders have prioritized a strong immune system, which significantly simplifies cultivation management. This variety demonstrates notable resistance to:

• Downy mildew (Peronospora);
• Phomopsis;
• Phoma blight.

This high level of resistance allows growers to minimize fungicide applications, lowering production costs while maintaining high crop quality and reducing the risk of losses during the growing season.

Growth and Flowering Traits

As a mid-season bloomer, Escape produces a classic, sturdy goblet-shaped flower. The vibrant red petals are dense and retain their color integrity throughout the post-harvest period, making them excellent for logistics and long-lasting vase life. With its medium height, the plant maintains structural integrity, preventing stems from bending or lodging under the weight of the bloom.

In commercial operations, Escape is prized for its extreme uniformity. Every stem in a batch is consistent in height and maturity, meeting the high standards required for wholesale markets and uniform floral arrangements.
