Tulip Cherokee

Professional Grade: Reliability and Disease Resistance

The 'Cherokee' tulip, belonging to the Triumph class, is a staple choice for commercial growers looking for consistent, high-quality results. Its primary advantage in the field is its robust genetic profile, which offers significant resistance to major soil-borne pathogens. By effectively mitigating risks associated with Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, Phytophthora, and Alternaria, this variety significantly reduces the need for intensive fungicide applications, lowering overall production costs.

Operational Performance

As a mid-season flowering variety, 'Cherokee' allows for efficient production scheduling. Its high-stems make it exceptionally well-suited for mechanical harvesting and grading processes. The intense yellow petals are highly resistant to sun fading, and the structural integrity of the bloom ensures excellent shelf life and durability during transport, which is essential for maintaining market value.
