Tulip Cheirosa

Professional Grade: The Triumph Tulip for Reliable Yields

The 'Cheirosa' tulip belongs to the Triumph class, making it a cornerstone for professional bulb production. This variety is prized for its architectural integrity and exceptional vigor, ensuring high-quality blooms even under variable growing conditions.

Agronomic Resilience

The primary advantage of 'Cheirosa' is its inherent disease resistance, which allows for a more streamlined integrated pest management (IPM) strategy. By minimizing the susceptibility to common soil-borne pathogens, this variety reduces the need for frequent fungicide interventions. It demonstrates high resistance to:

• Verticillium wilt;
• Fusarium wilt;
• Tomato mosaic virus;
• Cladosporium.

This durability makes it an ideal candidate for fields with a history of disease pressure or for intensive greenhouse cycles where plant health is critical to ROI.

Production Scenarios

As a mid-season bloomer with a standard average height, 'Cheirosa' is highly versatile for various agricultural applications. Its vibrant red petals are consistently in demand, making it a reliable performer for the spring market. Key operational uses include:

• Greenhouse forcing: The uniform growth habit allows for predictable harvest scheduling.
• Cut-flower production: Sturdy stems and resilient petals ensure excellent post-harvest shelf life and ease of transit.
• Commercial landscaping: Predictable performance and height uniformity simplify planting and maintenance tasks.
