Tulip Centurion

Technical Potential of the Centurion Tulip

Belonging to the Triumph class, the 'Centurion' tulip is the result of focused breeding, prioritizing the resilience of the vegetative mass against key pathogens. Unlike many decorative varieties, this tulip exhibits significant immunity to downy mildew and powdery mildew. This built-in resistance allows for a reduction in pesticide application, which is crucial for maintaining plant health in high-humidity cultivation environments.

Morphology and Development Cycle

The tall stem of the 'Centurion' is engineered for density, ensuring resistance to lodging during rapid growth phases. As a mid-season flowering variety, this hybrid allows for reliable harvest scheduling. The visual profile is characterized by a complex gradient of deep red and lilac tones; this pigment stability is highly valued in commercial floriculture, as it prevents petal degradation during extended transport.

Why Centurion is a Professional Choice

• Fungal resistance significantly minimizes crop losses during active growth.
• Robust stem structure facilitates automated maintenance and harvesting.
• The distinctive red-lilac color palette provides a unique competitive edge in the floral market.

By combining biological reliability with aesthetic appeal, the 'Centurion' represents a technical asset for commercial tulip production.
