Tulip Patriot

'Patriot' Tulip: A Reliable Choice for Professional Cut Flower Production

For large-scale floriculture, selecting a reliable variety is key to profitability. The 'Patriot' tulip, belonging to the Triumph group, stands out as a highly resilient and predictable crop, favored by growers for its strong stem and high tolerance to common horticultural challenges.

Key Operational Advantages

• Superior Disease Resistance: One of the most compelling reasons to choose 'Patriot' is its natural resistance to root rots, downy mildew (peronospora), aschochyta, and powdery mildew. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide interventions and ensures a healthier, more uniform crop.
• Growth Characteristics: As a tall-stemmed variety, it produces high-quality flowers that meet premium market standards. Its medium-blooming cycle makes it an essential part of a staggered production schedule.
• Market Readiness: The elegant, deep lilac petals paired with a sturdy structure ensure that the flowers maintain their aesthetic appeal during long-distance transit, minimizing waste after harvest.

In a production scenario, 'Patriot' thrives under standard greenhouse conditions. Its vigor reduces the risk of crop failure, allowing farm managers to focus on optimizing growth parameters rather than constant disease management. Whether grown in soil or hydroponic systems, the variety displays a remarkable ability to maintain high quality, which is essential for meeting the demands of high-end floral retailers.

By selecting 'Patriot', growers can secure a consistent supply of premium lilac tulips that are both beautiful and structurally sound. It is a proven asset for any production line aiming to balance high yields with low-maintenance operational costs.
