Description
Variety SHA is distinguished by high yield, reaching up to 120 centners per hectare under favorable conditions. In various regions, such as the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus, yield varies from 55.8 to 80.9 c/ha, with maximum indicators recorded in the Voronezh region. Plants have an average height of 79 to 105 cm and a short vegetative period of 247 to 292 days, allowing for effective use of the variety in various climatic zones.
The variety exhibits increased resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, ensuring yield stability even under unfavorable weather conditions. Winter hardiness and frost resistance are at a medium level, comparable with the Consul variety. Regarding triticale diseases, SHA shows immunity to ergot and high resistance to yellow rust, as well as slight infection by other diseases such as powdery mildew, snow mold, helminthosporiosis, septoria, fusarium of the head, brown rust, and black bread mold. These characteristics make the variety reliable and promising for cultivation in various regions.
