Triticale MIP Horse

Consistent Yields in Challenging Conditions

The «MIP Hors» triticale variety, developed by the Mironivsky Wheat Institute, is a strategic choice for agricultural operations prioritizing productive forage and operational reliability. As a winter triticale, it is tailored for intensive farming environments where maximizing grain mass per hectare is essential for profitability.

Agronomic Resilience and Field Performance

The core value of «MIP Hors» lies in its robust genetic resistance to common cereal pathogens, which often erode profit margins. Agronomists select this variety to minimize risks in high-pressure disease environments:

• Sanitary Stability: Strong resistance to wheat brown rust and powdery mildew allows for better management of fungicide application schedules, optimizing input costs.
• Winter Hardiness: The variety shows exceptional resistance to snow mold. This is a critical advantage for regions where crops remain under snow cover for extended periods, preventing spring stand depletion.
• Yield Protection: Its resistance to septoria leaf blotch ensures the foliage remains healthy until the grain-filling stage, directly translating into higher thousand-kernel weight.

Operational Application

«MIP Hors» thrives on nutrient-rich soils and responds exceptionally well to high-input management. It is primarily utilized in farming cycles aimed at producing high-protein forage grain. The crop features strong straw, reducing lodging risks even in high-yield scenarios, which simplifies harvesting operations and minimizes grain loss. By choosing «MIP Hors», producers secure a reliable, high-technology variety that balances excellent feed nutritional values with the structural durability required for large-scale production.
