Triticale Priority

Crop Stability Without Extra Hassle

The winter triticale "Prioritet," developed by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine, is designed for those who prioritize profitability and predictable performance over constant crop management interventions. In the field, this variety demonstrates the resilience required for Ukraine's specific agro-climatic conditions.

Phytosanitary Control and Protection

The main headache for any agronomist when growing cereals is the disease pressure. "Prioritet" significantly eases the load on your crop protection system. The variety possesses strong genetic resistance to key pathogens:

• Brown Rust: minimal infection risks even under high spring humidity.
• Root Rot: excellent viability of both primary and secondary root systems.
• Septoria and Powdery Mildew: the variety rarely requires extra "emergency" fungicide treatments, directly reducing the production cost per ton of grain.

Field Performance

In practice, "Prioritet" shows a reliable response to nutrient input. It is not a finicky crop: it efficiently utilizes available soil moisture and nutrients to develop a dense canopy. Its morphology ensures high winter hardiness, minimizing the costs of reseeding or field recovery. Equipment operators will appreciate the uniform height and stand structure, which simplifies combine header adjustments and reduces losses during direct harvesting.

By choosing this variety, you secure a predictable workflow with fewer sprayer passes and cleaner grain at harvest. "Prioritet" is a reliable workhorse, fine-tuned for high-intensity farming in Ukrainian conditions.
