Triticale Veresoch

Stable winter triticale yields under challenging conditions

Winter triticale "Veresoch", bred by NULES of Ukraine, is a strategic choice for farms focused on reducing fungicide application rates without compromising total yield. The variety demonstrates exceptional field resistance to pathogens that typically compromise the profitability of winter cereals.

Why agronomists choose "Veresoch"

• Phytosanitary shield: High genetic resistance to brown rust, septoria, and powdery mildew allows agronomists to optimize crop protection costs. In scenarios where wheat requires multiple fungicide passes, "Veresoch" maintains health with minimal preventive treatment.
• Mechanical efficiency: With a plant height of 100–110 cm, the variety features an ideal architecture for mechanized harvesting. The stem is highly resistant to lodging, ensuring minimal harvest losses even in regions prone to heavy summer rainfall.
• Forage and grain potential: This crop serves as an excellent preceding plant and a reliable source of high-quality protein for livestock. In intensive farming, it consistently delivers high yields, outperforming standard rye and wheat varieties on nutrient-poor or acidic soils.

Choosing this variety is justified for operations aiming for stable output with minimal risk of fungal infections. "Veresoch" is forgiving of minor deviations in agronomic timing, maintaining productivity in conditions where more sensitive varieties would show significant yield penalties.
