Description Allegro
ALLEGRO — a winter triticale variety intended primarily for green mass, fodder, and silage production. This variety is distinguished by a high yield of green mass with a leaf share in the structure of 22-25%, ensuring high-quality fodder raw material. Triticale ALLEGRO has a cylindrical, awnless white ear and small grain with a 1000-grain mass of about 39-40 grams.

The variety was bred by selection from a hybrid population at the North-Donets State Agricultural Experimental Station and is characterized by the diploid lutescens variety. The vegetative period ranges from 231 to 249 days, and plant height reaches 154-165 cm. The winter hardiness of the variety is above average, allowing for successful cultivation in various agricultural conditions.

ALLEGRO is distinguished by high resistance to lodging during the wax ripening stage and possesses field resistance to all types of rust, powdery mildew, septoria, and other leaf and stem diseases. Additionally, the variety is weakly affected by snow mold and root rots, which contributes to a stable yield and reduced losses during storage and use.
