Tomato TOMARANGE

A Sunny Accent for Your Garden

«Tomarange» from the Dutch breeding company Enza Limited is the choice for those seeking a balance between predictable productivity and striking fruit aesthetics. Unlike many market-standard determinate hybrids that focus solely on volume, this variety prioritizes a vibrant orange hue and a distinctive «sunny» flavor profile.

Technical Specifications and Potential

This hybrid belongs to mid-season crops with a maturity period of 100–120 days. Its compact, determinate growth habit allows for highly efficient space management, making it an optimal solution for both open-field cultivation and temporary tunnel covers. Key parameters include:

• Fruit Weight: 80–100 grams — an ideal caliber for whole-fruit preservation and fresh summer salads.
• Shape: Classic round, ensuring convenience during packing and transport.
• Color: Bright orange, indicating high beta-carotene content.

Who is this variety for?

«Tomarange» excels where stability is paramount. It is less demanding regarding intensive fertilization compared to large-fruited beef tomatoes and offers excellent fruit uniformity. However, it is worth noting that under unfavorable weather conditions, the plant will require timely maintenance, as determinate varieties of this type need proper pruning to avoid over-cropping.

This variety is a sound investment for farmers targeting the early preservation market and for consumers who appreciate visual uniqueness in their produce. Orange tomatoes traditionally occupy a «premium segment» niche in retail, making «Tomarange» an effective way to differentiate your product range without unnecessary technological complexity.
