TOMANGO

Tomato variety Tomango is a medium-ripening beef tomato with yellow-orange flesh and a bright, sweet taste. The fruits are round or slightly flattened, slightly ribbed, medium density, weighing about 300 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 800 grams. Immature fruits are light green, while ripe ones develop a rich yellow hue. This variety is valued for its excellent taste, aroma, and good fruit preservation after harvest.

The plants are indeterminate, reaching up to 180 cm in height and require staking and pruning, usually into one or two stems with moderate suckering. Leaves are long and green, inflorescences are intermediate, and the peduncle is equipped with a joint. Tomato Tomango is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected soil, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.

The yield of this variety is high, ranging from 14 to 16 kg per square meter when grown under plastic coverings. The plants demonstrate resistance to diseases and low temperatures, contributing to stable fruiting. For successful cultivation, seedlings should be planted in mid-to-late March, with harvest beginning in July. Use of fertilizers such as "Zdrav'eny Turbo" promotes robust seedling development and improves overall plant health.
