ANNAORANGE

Tomato Amana Orange is a medium-early indeterminate variety with a tall bush reaching 1.8-2 meters in height. The plant requires staking and regular pinching, with optimal results achieved by training the bush into one or two stems. The first flower cluster forms above the ninth leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every three leaves. Planting density is 3-4 plants per square meter, ensuring high yields of up to 16-18 kg per square meter.

The fruits of tomato Amana Orange are characterized by their bright orange color and flattened-round shape with distinct ridges. Average fruit weight ranges from 400 to 600 grams, with individual specimens reaching 800-1000 grams and even up to 1.5 kg. The flesh is meaty, practically seedless and seed cavity-free, making them especially attractive for salads and slicing. The flavor is delicate, sweet with distinct fruity notes and aroma, as noted in international competitions.

The variety exhibits resistance to major tomato diseases, including phytophthora, and is not prone to fruit cracking. Additional feeding is recommended to maintain high yields. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, Amana Orange is considered one of the best orange-fruited tomato varieties suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground.
