Selchanka

Tomato Selchanka is a medium-early determinate hybrid, characterized by moderate leafiness and medium growth vigor, reaching up to 115 cm in height. From germination to the start of fruiting, it takes approximately 105 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short periods. The first flower cluster forms above the 7th-8th leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every 1-2 leaves, promoting even and stable fruiting. The plant is recommended to be formed into 3-4 stems at a planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter. The fruits of tomato Selchanka have a round shape and a vibrant orange color, with each fruit weighing 190–210 grams. Their thick skin and tender, sweet flesh make them especially appealing for fresh consumption. Additionally, they are excellent for making juices and sauces, thanks to their flavor and texture. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, verticillium wilt, and leaf spot, significantly simplifying care and enhancing yield reliability. The Selchanka F1 variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions and levels of gardening experience. Yield in open ground reaches 17–18 kg per square meter, and in protected ground — 20–22 kg per square meter. Thanks to its characteristics and disease resistance, this hybrid is an excellent option for both beginners and experienced farmers, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
