Tomato MALINOVYI DZVIN

Field Performance and Reliability

When operating with 'Malynovyi Dzvin', it becomes clear that this selection from the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of NAAS was designed for industrial efficiency, not just show. This determinate tomato is a workhorse for growers who want to minimize time spent on trellising and complex pruning. The short, sturdy stem manages crop load effectively, resisting bending and making harvest operations significantly smoother.

Operational Specifications

• Maturation cycle: the period from germination to harvest readiness is 100–120 days. This allows for precise scheduling of produce flow to the market during the mid-early season.
• Harvest logistics: with an average weight of 100–150 grams, the fruits have an ideal caliber for packaging. Their uniform round shape ensures they fit easily into standard shipping crates without compromising marketability.
• Crop maintenance: due to the determinate growth habit, suckering is minimal. This reduces labor intensity per hectare and saves operational time during the peak of the season.

The pink skin color is the primary commercial advantage. Unlike generic red varieties, 'Malynovyi Dzvin' offers the premium flavor profile that consumers demand while maintaining the structural integrity required for mid-range transport. Highly adaptable to various Ukrainian climatic conditions, this variety serves as a predictable and reliable asset for any farming operation.
