PINK MARMANDE

Pink Marmande Tomato — a popular Dutch selection variety named after the French province of Marmagne. The plant is indeterminate, reaching a height of 1 to 1.5 meters, not bushy, and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. Plants exhibit high yields, producing up to 9-10 kg per square meter. Fruits ripen early, on average 85-100 days after seed germination, allowing for a prolonged harvest period. Tomato fruits have a round-oval, slightly ribbed shape with sharp ribs near the stem. Fruit weight varies from 150 to 250 grams, with juicy, succulent, aromatic flesh featuring a distinct sweet taste. The fruit skin is dense, glossy, and tough, ensuring good transportability and long-term storage. Fruits contain few seeds, making them especially attractive for fresh consumption and culinary use. Pink Marmande Tomato is versatile: its fruits are suitable for fresh slicing, salads, sauces, ketchup, lecho, and other preserved dishes. The variety is low-maintenance, grows well in various soils, preferring nutrient-rich soil and moderate fertilization.
