KANDINSKY

Tomato Kandinsky is a medium-early indeterminate variety developed by breeder T.V. Steiner, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and tunnels, as well as in open ground. It begins to bear fruit as early as day 108–110 after germination, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The first flowering node forms low, above the seventh leaf, and subsequent inflorescences are spaced one or two leaves apart, promoting abundant and prolonged fruiting. Plants of this variety are literally laden with bright fruits, making it attractive to gardeners and farmers.

The fruits of tomato Kandinsky have a bright yellow color and juicy texture, weighing up to 90 grams. The flesh is characterized by juiciness, tenderness, and pronounced sweetness with a pleasant aroma. The fruits contain a significant amount of vitamin C, carotene, and lycopene — a powerful natural antioxidant — making them not only delicious but also beneficial for health. Due to these qualities, tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

The variety is distinguished by high commercial yield — up to 9–10 kg per square meter, making it economically advantageous for cultivation. Additionally, tomato Kandinsky is resistant to phytophthora, reducing the risk of crop loss and decreasing the need for chemical treatments.
