SV 4097 CV — ultra-early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid developed by Seminis. This variety is characterized by a rapid maturation period, which is 36-40 days from germination to fruiting. Plants are compact, medium-height, and medium-branched, open generative type with predominantly female flowers. The root system is strong, and lateral shoots are determinate, promoting the formation of 2-3 cucumbers per node. Leaves are large and green, and the plants exhibit balanced growth and sun-loving characteristics. SV 4097 CV fruits have a cylindrical shape, straight, dark green with short light stripes and white spines. Fruit length is 11-13 cm, diameter — 3-3.4 cm, weight — 80-100 grams. The fruit interior is dense, without cavities, with crisp and juicy flesh. Fruits are not prone to overgrowth, making the hybrid especially convenient for cultivation and harvesting. Average yield is 8-10 kg per square meter, maximum up to 15 kg, confirming the high productivity of the variety. The hybrid is versatile, suitable for fresh consumption, summer salads, as well as for canning and pickling. The variety is resistant to brown spot, cucumber mosaic virus, and has moderate resistance to powdery mildew.
