IVANICH

IVANICH — an early determinate tomato hybrid, intended for early harvest both in polyethylene greenhouses and in open ground. The vegetative period from emergence to the beginning of ripening is 90-95 days. The plant is compact, 70 to 90 cm tall, with simple inflorescences bearing 5-6 fruits. The first inflorescence appears above the fifth leaf, promoting uniform fruiting. Fruits have a round shape, dense flesh, and lack green spots at the stem, improving their market appearance and transportability. Ripe fruits are a deep pink color, weigh 180 to 200 grams, have a glossy surface, and excellent flavor. The hybrid is highly productive — the first two harvests yield 11-12 kg per square meter, with total yield reaching 18-20 kg/m². Due to its dense flesh and good transportability, IVANICH tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The hybrid is resistant to major tomato diseases, including alternaria, fusarium, and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), ensuring stable yields under various soil-climate conditions. The plant is moderately leafy, facilitating care and reducing disease risk. It can be grown using seedlings or direct sowing in open or covered ground, making it versatile and convenient for various cultivation techniques.
