AGATA PLUS

Tomato Agata Plus is an early-maturing determinate variety with a compact bush reaching 33 to 45 cm in height. The plant has moderate foliage and simple flower clusters, each bearing 3 to 4 fruits. Leaves are medium-sized, green and glossy with a moderate purple hue. This variety boasts high field germination and can be successfully grown both as seedlings and by direct sowing into the soil, making it versatile for various cultivation conditions. The fruits of tomato Agata Plus are flat-round, smooth, and red, weighing 70 to 110 grams. They possess excellent flavor, including a rich aroma and pronounced acidity, making them ideal for fresh consumption. Additionally, the fruits are suitable for processing: they are used for making salads, canning, sauces, and other tomato products. The dry matter content in the fruits is 5.0–5.5%, contributing to good storage quality and flavor. Agata Plus is characterized by high yield — commercial productivity reaches 583–676 centners per hectare, with up to 400 centners possible during the first fruiting decade. The variety is resistant to phytophthora, but requires regular protection against diseases and pests. For successful cultivation, use light, fertile soils and ensure adequate fertilization. Seeds should be treated with potassium permanganate solution before sowing to improve germination, and seedlings are transplanted at 50–60 days old.
