Tomato DE BARAO ORANGE

Tomato De Barao Orange is a tall indeterminate variety with a robust, well-leafed plant reaching heights of 1.8 to 3 meters. The plant requires support, staking, regular watering, and fertilization to ensure a high yield. This variety is resistant to late blight, frost, and shade conditions, allowing it to be grown in various climatic zones and under adverse weather conditions. The fruit ripens in 120-130 days after sowing, and fruiting continues until frost, providing a prolonged harvest period.

The fruits of Tomato De Barao Orange have oval-egg or plum-shaped forms, sometimes with a pointed tip, weighing 50 to 100 grams. Immature fruits are green with a characteristic green spot at the stem attachment, gradually turning into a vibrant orange color as they ripen. The tomatoes have a firm skin and juicy, succulent flesh with 2-3 seed chambers, harmoniously combining sweetness and acidity. The thick walls of the fruits make them ideal for whole-fruit canning, pickling, drying, as well as for making juices and sauces. The fruits retain their appearance and flavor quality for a long time, both in field conditions and when stored in cool places for up to 1-2 months.

This tomato variety is valued for its high yield and versatility. Plants form 6-10 compact flower clusters, each bearing 5-7 fruits, ensuring a stable and abundant harvest. Due to its hardiness, resistance to stress and diseases, as well as its rich content of beta-carotene and beneficial microelements, De Barao Orange is an excellent choice for both home cultivation and commercial production. Its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and various culinary preparations.
