Babushkino

The BABUSHKINO tomato is a medium-maturing indeterminate hybrid belonging to the bif-fruit type. From seed sowing to full fruit ripening, it takes 105 to 120 days. The plant reaches a height of approximately 160-180 centimeters and typically forms 2-3 stems with mandatory pinching. The first flower cluster appears above the 9th leaf, and subsequent clusters form every 2-3 leaves. To prevent breakage of heavy clusters, they must be tied.

The fruits of the BABUSHKINO tomato have a round or slightly flattened round shape with a weak ribbed structure near the stem. Their color is a vibrant red with a pinkish hue, and the surface is glossy. The weight of one tomato ranges from 300-400 grams to 600 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 900 grams and even 1 kilogram. The taste of the fruits is rich, sweet with a pleasant acidity and a strong tomato aroma. Overripe tomatoes may slightly crack, but they retain their flavor qualities.

The variety is characterized by high productivity — about 4 kilograms of tomatoes can be harvested from one plant. It is resistant to major tomato diseases and tolerates low temperatures, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. BABUSHKINO tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for making juice, tomato paste, and sauce.
