Timothy Grass Summergraze

Reliable forage production with Danish genetics

Timothy grass 'Summergraz' by DLF is a choice designed for farmers who prioritize consistency, nutritional quality, and disease resistance in their forage crops. As a proven solution for intensive grassland management, this variety excels by providing a dense, productive sward while effectively resisting Fusarium, a common challenge in high-humidity cultivation areas.

Practical use in farming operations

• Hay and silage production: 'Summergraz' shows excellent regrowth rates after cutting. This allows for multiple cuts per season, maximizing the yield of high-energy roughage for cattle.
• Pasture management: Due to its resilient root system, the variety withstands grazing pressure well, making it a reliable component for rotational grazing systems that require quick recovery times.
• Healthier crops: The natural resistance to Fusarium reduces the risk of mycotoxin contamination in forage, protecting herd health and ensuring optimal milk or meat production.

DLF’s commitment to quality ensures that 'Summergraz' provides uniform emergence and vigorous early development. By integrating this variety into their crop rotation, managers can rely on a sturdy, high-performance plant that maintains its value even under demanding agricultural conditions. Whether used as a pure stand or part of a high-performance mixture, 'Summergraz' stands out as a dependable tool for modern forage production.
