Timothy Grass Inghulka 17

A reliable protein source for your farming operations

In the livestock sector, the "Ingulka 17" timothy grass has established itself as a true "workhorse." Under local climatic conditions, this variety from the IZPR NAAS originator has proven to be a highly predictable forage crop. If you are planning long-term planting, it is essential to consider the operational specifics of this material.

Efficiency and Productivity

With proper agronomic practices, this variety yields between 250 and 400 centners of green mass per hectare. For the operator, this means maintaining a strict mowing schedule and ensuring equipment is prepared for consistently high processing volumes. A crude protein content of 13–17% makes this variety a valuable component for a balanced diet, directly improving feed conversion rates.

Field Performance and Management

• Drought Tolerance: Rated as moderate. This means that Ingulka 17 responds well to irrigation or sufficient soil moisture, though one should not expect record-breaking results in arid steppe zones without supplemental management.
• Seed Production: Seed yield ranges from 5–8 centners per hectare. With a systematic approach, you can self-replenish part of your seed stock, thereby reducing the production cycle costs.
• Agronomy: The variety is undemanding regarding complex maintenance but requires close attention to vegetation phases to ensure maximum nutritional value of the harvested biomass.

Ingulka 17 is the choice for those who prioritize proven breeding and demand predictable outcomes in the silage bunker. It is a crop that is forgiving of typical novice mistakes, yet delivers consistently high-quality feed volume under professional management.
