Sulliko sunflower is a mid-early hybrid with a vegetation period of 110-113 days, developed by the Ukrainian selection of the Lugansk Institute of Selection and Technology (LІST). The plant reaches a height of 170-180 cm and forms large heads with a diameter of 22-24 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 38-45 ц/ha, as well as high oil content at 47-50%.
Sulliko has a reliable genetic profile, ensuring resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and pests. It effectively resists fusarium, phomopsis, powdery mildew, rust, gray and white mold, as well as is resistant to downy mildew races A-G. Such resistance makes the hybrid especially suitable for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe regions of Ukraine, and allows successful application of the herbicide Granstar for weed control.
Sulliko sunflower seeds are treated with fungicide for additional protection and are supplied in packages of 150,000 seeds, sufficient for sowing an area of 2.2-2.5 ha. Due to its high agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, the Sulliko hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality sunflower crop.
