Sunflower Sultan

Efficiency in Sunflower Production

The «Sultan» sunflower variety is a result of selective breeding by Olga Anatolyevna Borsukova, designed to meet the practical needs of producers seeking balance between cost and performance. Unlike high-cost intensive hybrids, Sultan offers growers the strategic advantage of self-reliance in seed stocks.

Field Application and Strategy

Integrating Sultan into a crop rotation allows farmers to optimize their budget while maintaining reliable yields. Key agricultural scenarios include:

• Cost Reduction: As a variety, Sultan allows farms to retain seed from their own harvest, significantly reducing the recurring costs associated with annual seed procurement.
• Resilience: The crop is bred to withstand variable weather patterns, making it a reliable choice for regions where environmental stress is a common challenge during the growing season.
• Operational Efficiency: Uniform growth patterns across the field contribute to smoother harvesting processes, allowing combine operators to maximize efficiency and minimize grain loss.

To achieve the best results, agronomists recommend standard regional sowing densities and conventional fertilization programs. The variety performs consistently under typical management practices, producing quality seeds suitable for commercial oilseed markets. Sultan is an excellent choice for operations that prioritize field-proven reliability and cost-efficient scaling.
