Sunflower Neymar

Neymar Plus sunflower is a medium-early hybrid maturing in 110-115 days, developed using imported selection and 'Granstar' technology. It exhibits single resistance to the herbicide tribenuron-methyl (Granstar) at a normal rate of 50 grams per hectare, enabling effective weed control even in later stages of weed development. The hybrid demonstrates high genetic resistance to eight races of downy mildew, including race G, significantly reducing yield losses from this pest. Plant height reaches 165-175 cm, and flower head diameter is 20-23 cm, promoting good seed formation and yield. Neymar Plus has high oil content in seeds — approximately 52% — making it attractive for oil production. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 58-60 centners per hectare, with average real yields ranging from 43-55 centners depending on region and growing conditions. Thanks to its strong root system and high drought resistance (rating 9 out of 10), this sunflower adapts successfully to various climatic conditions and soil types, which is especially important for regions with variable moisture. The Neymar Plus hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusarium wilt, white and gray mold, powdery mildew, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for frequent fungicide applications. The initial growth energy is also high, promoting rapid plant development and successful competition with weeds. The hybrid's versatility allows its use in various cultivation technologies such as sumo sunflower, granstar, and express, making Neymar Plus a multifunctional solution for modern farmers.
