IPPOLIT — this is a mid-early sunflower hybrid, distinguished by high productivity potential and stable yield even under extreme conditions. Plants are strong, with high height of 170–180 cm and good leafiness; leaves are green, while ray florets are yellow. The hybrid features a large head with high seed yield, seeds characterized by large mass and weakly expressed marginal and internal stripes. The vegetation period is approximately 116–128 days depending on the growing region. IPPOLIT demonstrates high yield and oil content in seeds at 49–51%. Average seed yield varies by region: in the Central Chernozem region it reaches 30.2 c/ha with a maximum of 40.3 c/ha, in the North Caucasus region — 18.2 c/ha, and in the Lower Volga region — 17.9 c/ha. The hybrid responds well to fertilization, proper plant spacing, and adequate moisture, contributing to maximum productivity. Average oil yield ranges from 9.5 to 14.2 c/ha depending on the region. The hybrid exhibits high drought resistance and moderate resistance to diseases such as false powdery mildew and white mold. In field conditions, IPPOLIT is weakly affected by gray mold, rust, downy mildew, and phomopsis, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones. Recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus, Ural, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga regions, including Saratov Oblast, Stavropol Krai, and Krasnodar Krai.
