Bomond

Bomond sunflower is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid developed using the Granstar (Sumo) technology. It is characterized by its flexibility regarding sowing dates and strong initial growth energy, ensuring successful plant development under various climatic conditions, including steppes, forest-steppes, and meadows. The vegetation period is 112-115 days, allowing for a stable harvest at optimal times. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 55-60 centners per hectare, making it an attractive choice for oilseed cultivation.

One of the key features of Bomond is its high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases and pests. The hybrid exhibits resistance to downy mildew (7 strains), fusarium, fusarium wilt, as well as white and gray mold. Additionally, it shows high resistance to downy mildew, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. A strong stem ensures resistance to lodging, contributing to the preservation of seed quality and quantity.

The Bomond hybrid is tolerant to single application of herbicide containing tribenuron-methyl at a rate of 60 g/ha, enabling effective control of a broad spectrum of weeds on the field. High oil content in the seeds, reaching 50-51%, makes this sunflower profitable for oil production. Thanks to the combination of high yield, disease resistance, and adaptability to various cultivation conditions, Bomond is a reliable choice for farmers aiming for a stable and high-quality harvest.
