Description BRYANSK RANNIY
Bryansk Ranniy — this is an early-maturing Russian table potato variety, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. Tubers are light beige or yellow in color, oval-round in shape with small eyes and white flesh. The mass of one marketable tuber ranges from 84 to 108 grams, and the number of tubers per plant varies from 6 to 10. The starch content in tubers is within 14-16%, making this variety universal for various culinary purposes, including frying, salad preparation, and baking.

The maturation period of Bryansk Ranniy is 60-70 days, allowing for an early harvest. The yield of this variety is high, reaching 300-470 centners per hectare, with tuber marketability at 90-93% and storability around 93%. The variety is resistant to potato scab (pathotype I) and viruses, has moderate resistance to late blight on tubers, and moderate susceptibility to foliage. However, it is sensitive to golden potato nematode and poorly tolerates heavy rains at the end of the vegetation period.
