Sankara

Sankara sunflower is a mid-early hybrid developed by IFAGRI and adapted for cultivation using modern technologies such as Express and Granstar. The vegetation period is approximately 108 days, allowing the hybrid to be successfully grown in various climatic zones, including the Polissya, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. The recommended planting density is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to achieving a high yield potential of up to 5 tons per hectare.

The Sankara hybrid is characterized by high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including false powdery mildew, fomopsis, verticillium, sclerotinia of head and stem, rust, white rot, and downy mildew. Additionally, it exhibits cold and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under variable climate conditions and diverse soil-climatic environments.

The oil content in Sankara sunflower seeds reaches 49-50%, which is an important indicator for oilseed crops. The seeds are prepared for application of the herbicide Granstar (50 g/ha), which ensures effective weed control and contributes to increased yield. Thanks to its combination of high productivity, disease resistance, and adaptability to various growing conditions, the Sankara hybrid is a profitable and promising choice for farmers.
