Description Sasha
Sasha sunflower hybrid is an early-maturing variety characterized by high oil content in seeds, approximately 49.5%. Plants reach a height of 150-170 cm, are non-branching, and have moderate hairiness at the upper stem. This hybrid is included in the State Register for the Lower Volga region and demonstrates an average yield of about 21.3 c/ha, with maximum yields reaching 36.2 c/ha, confirming its high productivity under favorable conditions.

Sasha is characterized by high oil content and high oleic acid content exceeding 80%, making its oil particularly valuable for producing both cold-pressed food oil and biodiesel. The hybrid is resistant to rust and false powdery mildew, although in certain regions such as the North Caucasus and Central Chernozem, it shows increased susceptibility to downy mildew and phomopsis. The recommended planting density is 50,000-55,000 plants per hectare, which promotes optimal growth and high yield.

Sasha is adapted to various agro-climatic conditions, allowing cultivation in different regions with varying climates. Its high disease resistance and stable yield performance make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers seeking high-quality oil crops and efficient industrial use.
