Sunflower QC 104 is an early-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 100 to 104 days, allowing for harvest within a short timeframe. Plants reach a height of 155–165 cm, have long black seeds, and a slender, convex head with a diameter of 21–24 cm. The recommended planting density prior to harvest is 50–55 thousand plants per hectare. The root system is of medium vigor and well-branched, facilitating efficient water uptake from the soil. Protein content in the seeds is 16–17%, and the potential yield reaches 45 centners per hectare. Hybrid QC 104 exhibits high resistance to major diseases and pests: powdery mildew, Phomopsis, sunflower moth, and various races of the aphid (A, B, C, D, E). This ensures stable yields even under adverse conditions. Additionally, sunflower QC 104 demonstrates good drought tolerance and resistance to lodging, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones.
