Sunflower CS Cleria CL

Clearfield Performance and Reliability

Working with KS Kleria KL in the field, you immediately notice the predictable development pattern of the crop. This hybrid from Caussade Semences stands out for its genetic stability, which is typical of high-end French breeding. The Clearfield (EURO-LIGHTNING) technology works like a precision tool, allowing for weed control without placing unnecessary stress on the sunflowers.

Disease Resistance and Field Health

From a technical management perspective, the plant's natural immunity is its greatest asset. Field observations confirm:

• Downy mildew: strong genetic resistance, significantly reducing the need for early-stage chemical intervention.
• Phoma and Powdery Mildew: the hybrid maintains a healthy leaf canopy even under high pressure, which is vital for proper grain filling and final seed weight.

Field Management and Harvesting

The hybrid shows high adaptability to various soil types, though strict adherence to herbicide application protocols is key. Utilizing the EURO-LIGHTNING system effectively tackles parasitic weeds like broomrape. As the season ends, the stalk remains robust, minimizing harvest losses. The standability is excellent, which makes the combine harvesting process straightforward and efficient, even under adverse weather conditions. It is a low-maintenance, high-efficiency crop for those prioritizing clean fields and consistent yields.
