NS H 8005

The NS H 8005 sunflower hybrid is an early-maturing Serbian selection hybrid, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and prairie regions. The hybrid's vegetation period ranges from 104 to 107 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. Plants reach heights of 170 to 190 cm and exhibit an extensive growth type with a strong root system, providing high drought resistance and lodging resistance.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, up to 58 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — 51 to 55%. NS H 8005 is resistant to downy mildew (Peronospora) types A-G+, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Additionally, the hybrid shows good tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including Phomopsis and rust, with ratings on a 10-point scale of 9/10. Initial growth energy is also high — 8/10, which promotes successful plant development in early stages.

For seed treatment, it is recommended to use thiabendazole, metalaxyl-M, and thiram. The hybrid is also resistant to the herbicide tribenuron-methyl (Gran Star and analogs), enabling effective weed control. After herbicide application, it is recommended to use a tank mix of Endobor and AKM to enhance protection efficiency. The optimal planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, which allows for maximum utilization of the hybrid's potential and ensures stable, high yields.
