QC Bravo

QC Bravo — medium-early sunflower hybrid, intended for high-tech cultivation and adapted to various soil-climatic conditions. It has a medium vegetation period of 100-110 days and medium plant height of 150-160 cm without branching. Leaves are green with slight rugosity, and ray florets are bright yellow. Seeds are large and deep, with a 1000-seed mass of approximately 53 grams.

The hybrid exhibits high drought and herbicide Euro-Lightning® tolerance, making it suitable for the Clearfield® system. It is also resistant to five races of downy mildew (A, B, C, D, E), significantly reducing the risk of infection by this pest. Average yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 22.9 c/ha, with a maximum of 45.6 c/ha. Oil content in seeds is approximately 45.3-50%, ensuring high oil yield — up to 10.2 c/ha.

Recommended regions for growing QC Bravo include the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions.
