Sunflower CSF 7606

Field Performance of КСФ 7606

When selecting seeds for challenging fields, consistency is key. The French hybrid КСФ 7606 from Caussade Semences has proven to be a reliable, low-maintenance choice. One of the first things you notice is the uniformity of the crop. With a plant height of 100-120 cm, the stand is incredibly even, which takes the stress out of harvesting. For an operator, this means fewer adjustments to the combine header and a smoother, more efficient run through the field.

Fungal Resistance and Plant Health

The true value of this hybrid lies in its genetics regarding disease resistance. The slightly convex head shape is a smart design feature—it sheds water efficiently after rainfall, which significantly reduces the incidence of White Rot (Sclerotinia) compared to flatter or concave varieties.

Harvesting and Seed Quality

The seeds are medium-sized and deep black, showing excellent germination energy. This translates into strong, uniform emergence early in the season. From an operator’s perspective, the crop handles well during harvest. The stalks are sturdy, minimizing lodging, which allows for more flexibility in your harvesting schedule. Even when conditions are not perfect, the plant architecture remains stable.

• Uniformity: Predictable growth patterns lead to easier harvest management.
• Resilience: Strong genetic defense against major fungal pathogens.
• Reliability: Stable performance across different soil types and moisture levels.

In short, КСФ 7606 is a no-nonsense workhorse hybrid. It is ideal for farmers who want to minimize the risk of yield loss due to disease while maintaining a high level of operational convenience.
