Production Characteristics

The primary specialization of "Zorya 87" is the production of high-quality flax fiber. Under intensive farming conditions, the variety shows the following results:

• Fiber yield: 13.6–15.0 centners/ha.
• Fiber content in stems: 26.0–28.0%.
• Vegetation period: 80–85 days.

Although some sources classify the variety as late-maturing, the actual vegetation period of 80–85 days allows for effective planning of the harvesting campaign in the Forest-Steppe zone. This makes it a predictable choice for farms focused on industrial flax processing.
