Sunflower MAS 91IR

The hybrid sunflower MAS 91IR is a stable and high-yielding variety, specifically developed for cultivation under stressful conditions. It exhibits high resistance to drought and lodging, ensuring reliable and stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. Genetic resistance to seven strains of bird cherry (rust) makes this hybrid especially valuable in regions where this pest is prevalent. MAS 91IR is recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine, confirming its adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions.

The maturity group of MAS 91IR is medium-early, with a vegetative period of 108 to 112 days. Plants reach a height of 145 to 185 cm, and the flower head is strongly convex, which contributes to effective seed formation. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches up to 50 centners per hectare, with actual yields typically ranging from 35 to 40 centners. The 1000-seed mass varies from 50 to 60 grams, and the oil content in the seeds reaches 49%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production.

The producer of MAS 91IR is the French company Mas Seeds, which offers high-quality seeds for agricultural use. The hybrid is suitable for conventional cultivation methods and demonstrates tolerance to common sunflower diseases. Due to its characteristics, MAS 91IR is an optimal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower yield under various conditions.
