The hybrid sunflower ES REGATA is a French early-maturing selection with a vegetation period of 101-105 days, designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. Plants reach a height of approximately 175 cm, featuring a semi-downward-facing flower head with a diameter of 24 cm, facilitating easy harvest. This hybrid exhibits high drought resistance, ensuring stable yields even under insufficient moisture conditions.
ES REGATA demonstrates high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including 7 strains of downy mildew, new strains of powdery mildew, phomopsis, peronosporosis, white mold, rust, verticillium wilt, and sclerotinia. Such comprehensive protection significantly reduces the risk of yield losses and minimizes the need for frequent chemical treatments. Seeds are treated with a fungicide and insecticide, further enhancing their protection and promoting successful germination.
The hybrid's yield potential reaches 5 tons per hectare, with oil content in seeds ranging from 51-53%, making ES REGATA an attractive option for producers focused on obtaining high-quality oil products. Seed packaging is provided in multi-layer paper bags designed for one planting unit (150,000 seeds), ensuring convenient storage and sowing.
