ES SLAVA

Sunflower ES SLAVA is a medium-maturing linoleic-type hybrid developed by Euralis and designed for intensive agronomic practices. Its vegetative period is 115-120 days, with the transition from emergence to flowering taking 64-66 days. Plants reach a height of 158-168 cm and have a flower head with a diameter of 20-22 cm and a slight inclination. The hybrid is characterized by high growth energy in early development stages and is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia. ES SLAVA exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, sclerotinia, rust, verticillium, and alternaria. It also demonstrates tolerance to seven races of downy mildew (A-G) and some new forms of this pathogen. The hybrid is low-sensitive to sucking and chewing pests, contributing to yield preservation. Additionally, it is resistant to lodging and drought, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. Seeds of ES SLAVA have a high oil content — 50-53% — making this hybrid particularly attractive for oil production. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units and treated with the fungicide Maxim XL and insecticide Poncho, providing additional protection for plants in early development stages. The hybrid's yield reaches 47 centners per hectare, confirming its high profitability and flexibility in planting.
