ES SAVANA

ES SAVANA sunflower is an early-maturing hybrid of moderate-intensity type, distinguished by high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions. The plant has a medium height of about 155-160 cm and a sturdy stem, with a flower head diameter ranging from 21 to 24 cm. The vegetation period is 90 to 105 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully grow in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. Thanks to its vigorous early growth and high germination energy, ES SAVANA rapidly accumulates biomass during the initial stages of vegetation, contributing to drought and heat stress resistance. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including false powdery mildew, fomopsis, sclerotinia species, rust, verticillium, and anthracnose. Additionally, ES SAVANA is genetically resistant to seven races of the fox moth parasite, significantly enhancing crop reliability. These qualities make sunflower ES SAVANA especially valuable for cultivation in regions with diverse climatic and soil conditions. The yield potential of ES SAVANA reaches 40-48.7 centners/ha, with oil content in seeds ranging from 48-50%, meeting high standards for oilseed crops. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 63 grams, indicating dense, properly shaped seed filling of the flower head. All these characteristics make ES SAVANA an advantageous choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
