ES ROMANTIC

Sunflower ES ROMANTIC is a high-oleic hybrid of medium-early maturity group, intended for intensive and moderately intensive cultivation. Plants reach a height of 165–175 cm and have a convex-shaped head with a diameter of 22–24 cm and a slightly raised inclination. The hybrid is characterized by high leafiness and a strong root system, which contributes to its resilience and good development under various agroclimatic conditions.

ES ROMANTIC is characterized by high potential yield, reaching 50 centners per hectare, while actual yield varies from 38 to 48 centners per hectare depending on growing conditions. Seeds have high oil content — 49–50%, with oleic acid content ranging from 82–87%, ensuring high product quality. The hybrid is resistant to common sunflower diseases, including stem sclerotinia, anthracnose, verticillium, rust, and is tolerant to 7 strains of downy mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.

Recommended planting density is 60–65 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 50–55 thousand plants per hectare in less watered zones. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Seeds are packaged in 150,000 units per bag of high-density paper, ensuring convenient storage and transportation.
