Sunflower ES ARTISTIC

Working with ES Artistic

When you start the season with ES Artistic from Lidea Rus, you immediately appreciate its reliability. This simple sunflower hybrid is a workhorse for farmers who want to minimize crop failure risks. With a vegetation period of 90–100 days, it fits perfectly into any harvest schedule, ensuring the crop is in the granary before autumn rains complicate field operations.

Crop Health and Resistance

The most crucial aspect for an agronomist is crop health. French genetics from Euralis Semences have clearly paid off here: ES Artistic is essentially armored against major pathogens. The resistance to Downy Mildew (Peronospora) is particularly impressive; even in wet, high-pressure seasons, the crop remains healthy. This significantly optimizes your budget by reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications.

Growth and Harvesting Specs

Standing at 180–190 cm, the plants are well-adapted for mechanical harvesting. The large, flattened head has the perfect downward inclination, which minimizes seed loss during threshing. When it comes to quality, the oil content consistently holds between 50% and 55%. This ensures great results at the elevator and directly impacts the profitability of the shipment.

Why choose ES Artistic?

• Reliability: Consistent performance with minimal complex agronomic requirements.
• Cost Efficiency: Natural disease resistance reduces chemical expenses.
• Harvest Quality: Uniform maturation makes combine settings easy and effective.
• High Value: High oil content yields a premium price at the market.

Working with this hybrid is straightforward. It is sturdy, does not lodge, and delivers a predictable, high-quality yield that you can count on during your pre-season planning.
