ES ARTISTIC

Sunflower hybrid ES Artic from the company Evralis is an early-maturing oleic hybrid characterized by high oleic acid content — up to 91-92%. This hybrid features high oil content, reaching 52%, and potential yield potential up to 46 centners per hectare. ES Artic adapts well to various soil-climatic conditions, enabling stable and high-quality yields even under adverse conditions. Plant height reaches 180 cm, and heads have a regular shape and diameter of about 20 cm, predominantly semi-downward, which facilitates harvesting.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to common sunflower diseases, including froge, rust, false powdery mildew, sclerotinia of head and stem varieties, verticillium wilt, and fomosis. Resistance levels to these diseases are rated 6-8 out of 9, ensuring reliable plant protection and reducing yield loss risks. Special attention is given to resistance to downy mildew — the hybrid is resistant to 7 races of this parasite (A-G), which is a significant advantage when cultivating in regions with aggressive forms of sunflower downy mildew.

ES Artic is distinguished by its adaptability and stress tolerance, allowing successful cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, including Central Ukraine, Northern Steppe, and Forest-Steppe. Recommended cultivation technology involves sowing rates from 45 to 55 thousand seeds per hectare depending on soil moisture. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, the hybrid ES Artic is a profitable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and quality sunflower yields.
