Rapeseed RGT OZZIL

French breeding for high profitability

The RAGT 2n winter oilseed rape hybrid, RGT Ozzil, is a technological solution for farmers focused on producing commercial grain with high quality indicators for the processing industry. Given its registration in Ukraine in 2026, this hybrid embodies the latest breeding achievements in oil content stability and field performance.

Processing and commercial quality

The primary purpose of the RGT Ozzil harvest is industrial processing at oil extraction plants. The hybrid demonstrates excellent oil yield indicators, making it a sought-after raw material for high-quality rapeseed oil and meal production. Key advantages for processors and traders include:

• High seed uniformity, which simplifies cleaning and calibration processes at elevators.
• Stable chemical composition that meets the rigorous requirements of export markets.
• Excellent transportability: the seeds possess high test weight and shell strength, minimizing losses during long-distance shipping and handling.

Storage and logistics

Thanks to its genetically inherent resistance to pod shattering, RGT Ozzil allows farmers to be flexible with harvest timing. This is critical for maintaining the commercial appearance of the grain: the absence of premature shedding ensures crop purity and reduces post-harvest processing costs. When following standard drying and ventilation protocols, the harvest of this hybrid demonstrates excellent storage stability, allowing farmers to hold their stock until market prices peak without fear of quality degradation.
