Sunflower B 30 is a highly efficient oilseed hybrid suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine. This simple early-maturing hybrid has a vegetation period of 105-108 days and reaches a height of up to 180 cm. The head is convex in shape with a diameter of 22-24 cm and a tilt. The oil content of the seeds reaches 52%, and the moisture content is 20-22%. The average yield of the hybrid, based on test results, is 38 ц/га, with potential up to 50 ц/га. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to diseases and stress conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers, especially on fields prone to infestation by dicotyledonous weeds. Special attention during cultivation of sunflower B 30 is paid to resistance to the parasite ragweed, which poses a serious threat to yield. Ragweed can damage the roots of sunflower, slowing its development and reducing yield by up to 70%. Hybrids resistant to ragweed, including B 30, have been developed taking into account various races of the parasite, enabling effective control of it and minimizing yield losses. Using such hybrids is an important strategy for farmers aiming to maintain high productivity and product quality. Sunflower B 30 is cultivated using various agronomic technologies, including conventional, express, and Clearfield (Clear Field) technology. Conventional technology remains the most popular and allows adapting the cultivation of the hybrid to various soil-climatic conditions. High profitability and practically no waste make sunflower an important food and technical crop for Ukrainian farmers. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance, the B 30 hybrid is the optimal choice for obtaining a stable and high yield.
